Privacy

This notice covers the public website breakmy.ai and the emails and messages we send to people we would like to work with. The app has its own privacy notice. Last updated 23 October 2026.

Who we are

breakmy.AI is a product of The Quality Guru BV, Oudenaarde, Belgium. We are responsible for this website and for the messages described below. Contact: privacy@breakmy.ai.

What we measure

We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which is hosted in the EU and sets no cookies. It records the page, the referring site, the campaign in the link, the browser, the device type and the country. It does not store your IP address or build a profile of you. That is why this site has no cookie banner.

We also count clicks on the booking buttons and how far down the page a visit scrolls, so we know which parts of the page are read.

What we do not collect

This website has no forms and asks for no personal data.

Booking a call

The booking buttons open Calendly, a separate service. What you enter there is handled under Calendly's own privacy notice. We receive your booking details to hold the call. Basis: the steps you asked for before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep booking details for 12 months after the call.

If we contacted you

If Thomas emailed you or messaged you on LinkedIn about breakmy.AI, this part is for you.

What we keep: your name, job title, company, the work email address we wrote to, the public reason we wrote (for example a job post, a news item or your public code), and the messages we exchanged.

Where it comes from: your company's own website, public job posts and news, public code repositories, or you, if you gave Thomas your details. We do not buy contact lists or guess email addresses.

Why, and on what basis: to ask, one to one, whether breakmy.AI could help your team. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering our services to businesses: direct marketing, Article 6(1)(f) and recital 47 GDPR. We write only about your work, and send at most two follow-ups. Thomas reads and sends every message himself; nothing is sent automatically.

Who helps us: Google Workspace for email, LinkedIn when we message you there, Calendly for booking, Anthropic (Claude) as a research and writing assistant, and Firecrawl for web search. Some of these companies are in the United States. Where your data goes there, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Article 46 GDPR). Ask us which applies.

How long: if you don't reply or you say no, we delete your name, title and email address within 6 months and keep only your company's name. If we start talking, we keep the exchange while we are in contact, then 6 months. If you ask us to stop, we keep just your email address or company domain on a do-not-contact list, so we never write again.

Your right to object: you can object at any time to our use of your data for direct marketing. We then stop at once and keep only your do-not-contact entry. Reply "stop" or write to us.

Your other rights: you can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict what we keep about you. We answer within one month. You don't have to give us any data; if you object, we simply stop writing.
